Today’s show is an interview and chat with Dane Sanders, professional wedding photographer and host of the video podcast, Simple Photo Minute. My personal favorites from his show are always the “What’s In Your Bag” and the “Cribs” espisodes. I am planning on borrowing these ideas for upcoming SCRAPcast’s video podcasts!

    Hi Lynette,

I am only on Episode 22 (I think) and I am loveing your podcast!

In one of the last podcasts that I have heard you asked for ideas for future episodes… Well I have one for you. Right now I am going throught the toughest time in my life… My daugher (baby #4 for us) was born at 33 weeks and has a congenital heart defect she has now been in the hospital for 10 weeks and has had 4 heart surgeries. It may sound crazy to some but listening to your podcast has kept me sane during all of this. The hospital we are staying at has scrapbooking classes one day a week for parents of children staying in the hospital. I love going but I am having a hard time starting my album. Which got me thinking… could you do an episode on scraping the bad times as well as the good times. These times are hard but they are a part of our lives and should be documented dont you think? It is just very hard getting started.

By the way we are finally seeing a light at the end of the tunnel… Our daughter finally had her ventilator removed and is breathing on her own. It looks like she may be comming home in a few weeks 🙂 God willing!

FYI if anyone reading this has scrapbooking supplies that your no longer use and want to get rid of but can’t bright yourself to toss it, check your local hospitals to see if they have a program like this. The program at hospital we are at relies 100% on donations.

Thanks for listening 🙂 I hope I have not rambled on too long 🙂

I’ve listened to each & every one of your podcasts and I’m desperately missing new episodes. I’m an avid scrapbooker with a long commute. Your show makes my drive so much shorter. Any idea when you’ll be back??
